 After getting a mittful of requests in e-mail since early November, I'm opening up the sponsorship drive for 7 days just before Christmas. This will be the absolute last chance you'll have to get in on the 2002 sponsorship spiffs! The next drive will be sometime in February or March of 2003, and a lot of the goodies offered will be different. You'll see one nag strip for the Wednesday, December 18th strip, and another for the Tuesday, December 24th strip, and that's it!
My thanks to everyone who has helped us via sponsorships, letters of support, helping out in the community, merchandise/book purchases and/or visiting our advertisers. All of it adds up!
Update: The functionality to buy gift sponsorships isn't in place yet, but will be by the next drive.

Beginning December 21st, LOTD will be Linkography 2002. I've assembled the top 12 links for the year in a countdown format that culminates on January 1. There will also be a link retrospective each day - categories of links we've featured - mixed in with a bit of behind the scenes FYI. I initially started putting the Linkography together as a way of making "time off for Diva" during the hectic holiday season, but quickly found myself all grinning and cheery as I put together the categories and revisited links past. LOTD participation has doubled since January 2002! Doubled! I thank everyone who submitted links, emailed me with scores, gripes and suggestions, and took the time to check the LOTD Archive first before submitting! A special thank you goes to the UF Comment system regulars for the dozens of link submissions and zero-hour LOTD comment threads, self-imposed FYOS and url policing, and for making my morning a little bit brighter by giving me immediate feedback and encouragement.
I hope you will all enjoy the retrospective as much as I did!
