CROUCHING GEEK, HIDDEN FLAGON: I'll be flying out to China on May 21st, and will be in Beijing for over half of the trip. The rest of the trip will be spent near Yantai. It's been over 20 years since I've been back to visit my relatives on my mother's side. I can tell you as a connoisseur of Asian foods I'm really looking forward to the trip. Thankfully I already have the benefit of living in one of the most culturally diverse cities in the world, so I haven't had to deal with that "chop suey" trash. Yeah, I'm a food snob. ;)

AND AFTER CHINA, COMES THE DUCK: Not Peking Duck, but Duckon XIII! It is with great pleasure (and no small measure of pride) that I'll be returning to Duckon for the third time in a row, June 4th to June 6th, in Chicago (well, Lincolnwood to be exact). And once again I'll be producing a special one-of-a-kind card for the Duckon XIII game track, and running a seminar for the Young Fans track. There's rumours of another UFie gathering, which will probably involve food and geekery, so how can you lose. Hope to see you all there!!
