THE BOX OFFICE IS JUST ABOUT OPEN: We're dang close to opening the doors to the next Sponsorship Drive on UF! If all goes well, we should be running the drive between Dec 12, 2003 until around the first or second week of January 2004.

IT'S ACTUALLY SEVENTH YEAR, NOT FIFTH: A fine journalist by the name of Alex Goldman (from ISP WORLD) just posted an interview I did up on the ISP World site. The only error is that UF is in it's seventh year (ye GODS -- where did the time go?) not fifth. I probably missed that on the first go-around. Anyway, thanks Alex!

UPCOMING TRIPS N TALKS: As of today, I'll be giving a keynote at NordU in Denmark (Jan 31 to Feb 1), giving a talk at MIT in late February (stay tuned for details), and attending as a GoH at I-Con 23 in Stony Brook, NY, March 26-28. Also (I'm becoming very fond of this habit) I'll be attending Duckon 13 in Chicago, June 4-6. These are the for-sures or almost for-sures. There are 3 or 4 other events I might be attending, but haven't worked out the details or practicalities for yet.

I'll also be going to the Bellingham Linux Users Group annual xmas potluck. I'm unsure if it's invite only, so I won't give any specific details. You might want to contact Bill Wright over at blug.org if you're thinking of showing up. UPDATE: Bill wrote in to tell me that the party is in fact Wide Open. All are welcome! Wooo!
