 The more observant among you will note that today (Nov 1) features a non-repeat strip. This is the beginning of a 21-day UF story arc devoted to Remembrance Day (or Veterans' Day in the US). I promised this earlier this year, so here it is.
What happens after is vague and at this point random. There'll likely be another extended break of re-runs, with the very occasional strip or week of strips thrown in. After nearly a year off I've sorted my life and priorities and have concluded that I really enjoy having the time to spend with family and friends, time I wouldn't have were I shackled to a regularly scheduled oar. The infrequent injection of self-contained story arcs are much more likely (and much more appealing to me).
Also, many folks have written in asking for some sort of notification system, something that pings them if a new strip makes its appearance. This is a very reasonable request so I'm working on a solution for that and hope to have it in place by month end.
Finally, thank you to all who have written in with such kind words of support and patience. Although going daily again is highly unlikely, there are still many stories that I want to tell through UF, over time.
