Word Search

I DON'T BLOG: Several people have asked in email recently (and countless numbers of the past couple of years) why I don't start a blog. I don't "blog" (nor do I like to verb nouns), unless you include the cartoon strip which has really been my daily message medium for over ten years. I also really hate the term "blog." It rhymes with "bog" and I lost a boot in one once. This explains my aversion.

HOWEVAR!!! I wouldn't be against posting an opinionated news item from time to time. I have opinions about almost everything, but I mostly keep them to myself around polite company and people offering free coffee. But rather than hide behind an ivory podium while I pontificate, I think it'd be more fun for the readership to suggest what topic, controversial or not, I should write about. Feel free to offer suggestions either as a comment to this news item, or in email at the usual address (illiad !at! thisdomain). Please suggest a subject that hasn't been done to death! I'd like to not fall asleep at my keyboard while writing it, although I'm sure a dull treatise on something-or-other would help the insomniacs in the audience.
