 The response to the Charter Member Offer has been a very pleasant surprise! We're coming very close to hitting our target number, so if you want a Charter Membership but haven't picked one up, now is the time to do it. At the rate memberships are being bought, a wild guess would peg it to there being about seven days left before we close this off. Once we hit that magic number, no further Charter Memberships will be sold. That'll be it!
And to save you all (and me) some time, a couple of FAQs: Q1. I bought a Charter Membership. When I checked my account details I saw a new field that said "Member? No." Does that mean my money got lost by PayPal? A1. No, if you have a PayPal confirmation your money wasn't lost and your Charter Membership is safe. The membership flag function hasn't been activated yet, which is why you see the "no." Q2. For specific reasons I don't use PayPal. How else can I get money to you? A2. Go through the usual sign-up process. When you get to the page where you decide to pay by PayPal or by cheque/money order, print out the page and send it in via snail mail with your payment. Note that we need this information in the database if you pay by cheque or we have no way of matching the payment to an account.
