Yes! That's the answer! If you're a Canadian or a European (or anyone outside of the United States) and you have trouble converting funds to US dollars, we can indeed accept cheques and money orders in Canadian Funds. Go through the usual procedure of creating a Charter Membership, print out the page, and send the page and a cheque or M.O. for $59.95 (Canadian Funds) to the usual address. We're one step closer to making things easier -- and we're still working on other options. I've been asked quite a few times in e-mail when we'll be closing off the Charter Membership offer. We are indeed getting close (!!!) to the target number, but I can safely say we'll keep the offer open into at least the first and possibly the second week of January. This will give the mailed cheques time to get to us as well. And while I have your attention, one thousand thank-yous to those who are supporting UF through the charter offer! Finally, a quick reminder that I'll be in Raleigh, North Carolina on January 4 and 5. Details here. Hope to see a bunch of you there! OOPS: I should've mentioned this: I wrote a review of Lord of the Rings in today's cartoon comments. [Update from Yohimbe] make sure your money order is negotiable in Canada. We've had one that is "Negotiable only in US and possessions"
