They're still out there, although in lesser numbers: The previous warning about a couple of less-than-savoury ads is now extended. We're getting sporadic (four in 48 hours) reports of ads coming up that attempt some very rude things, so please update your virus software and be on guard.
As it turns out, the culprits cracked a major ad network server and have injected their own brand of net.sewage into the database. The techs over at said ad network are working hard to locate and eliminate all instances of this, and appreciate any help we can give them. If you run into something suspicious, please note the URL, the ad, your global location (just what country) and if you can please take a screenshot. Then forward the whole shebang to tech at thisdomain. We'll get right on it, and we'll forward every report we get to the ad network geeks.
