| BACK FROM THE BIG APPLE | Date:Sun Dec 19 14:12:04 1999 |
| I just got back from NYC today! It was an interesting trip, albeit an exhausting one. My thanks to Gruuk for managing the booth and to Starlady, Wildcard, SEA and Spellbndr for their terrific efforts in dotting the convention-goers with orange UF badges. :) In addition, a thank-you to Chris Lehmann of Beacon School for taking me to watch a basketball game he was coaching, and for inadvertently demonstrating what it means to have a group of bright kids look to an adult for guidance. Credit for the idea for Sunday's cartoon goes to Starlady! The folks at Earthweb tried real hard to make things work at this year's Bazaar, but I think the holiday season had something to do with...um...minimizing attendance. ;) I'm going to bed now.

This in from SilverElf On December 10th at 1pm local time, my lovely other half (MoonLightDragon) gave birth to a beautiful 6.5 pound, 20 inch long little girl!! Mother and daughter are both at home now and doing well. Couldn't resist the urge to let the world (or at least my fellow UFies) know! Why not drop SilverElf and his wonderful other half a note of congrats! We love to hear about happenings in the UFie community, whether it be births, weddings, meets, or whatever! Since we've been getting so many, we're planning a whole section just for these kind of announcements. Keep your eyes peeled to this space after the new year for the unveiling of a brand new Community section. Meantime, send your UFie Announcements to kethryvis@userfriendly.org

| PLUSH PLUSH PUPPY | Date:Mon Dec 13 16:53:41 1999 |
| We finally have the Dust Puppy plush dolls in our hot little hands! I suspect that shipments likely won't make it in time for Christmas, but we will do our best. Questions regarding shipments etc. should be directed to the folks handling merchandise for us at josettev@paralynx.com. Meantime, visit the UF Store to check out the little guy.
