AND THE PENGUIN SPAKE UNTO ME: Subscribers to LinuxWorld Magazine will see an interview involving me and some sodium penthatol. Okay, it wasn't that bad; in fact, it was very pleasant. James Turner, Senior Editor for the magazine and my interviewer asked interesting and thoughtful (to me at least) questions as opposed to the usual I get from the media.
AWAY TO THE ISLANDS OF THE CARIB: As of Friday, October 24th I'll be largely incommunicado until I get back on November 2. The 'toons are banked of course! The gang we have for Illiad's Oddity numbers about two dozen, so it'll be an intimate, fun gathering for sure! And yes, we'll be planning a second Oddity for sometime next year, probably a cruise to Alaska. Hopefully by then the 60-odd folks who wrote in asking about future cruises will be employed (!) and can afford a fun trip on the high seas! Arrrr!
IS IT CANADA POST OR CANADA STOP? This time around it was my fault, not the mails. A few of you who have won prizes of various sorts may be wondering where they are. I just moved house earlier this month and not only did I bollux some of the snail mail addresses and the postage, but the returns went back to my old address. I've since recovered them and will be sending them out before I leave on my trip. Sorry folks, I'll do better next time!
