Just in, this too-cool call for participation: The LinuxTag Association is producing an audio CD containing OpenMusic licensed songs for release at LinuxTag 2001 in July. They are looking for bands or artists who want to contribute to the project. The LinuxTag will professionally produce the CD and release it to the public at LinuxTag 2001. The CD will be sold at a low price, covering the media and distribution costs. The LinuxTag does not want to make a profit from this experiment. We offer the participating groups the following: - The music will be released to the public as a professionally made CD with full-color prints and booklet. The CD will be distributed throughout Europe and the US.
- Each participating group will get one full-color page in the booklet which they can use to promote their music.
- Each participating group will receive 50 CDs free of charge.
All the details can be found on the project's site at http://openmusic.linuxtag.org/
