| [Kethryvis] LWE NYC IS LOOMING... | Date:Sun Jan 14 19:32:04 2001 |
And I'm in need of a few good UFies! Are you going to be attending LWE NYC this year? Got some free time to volunteer at the UF booth? If so, you'll get cool UF schwag as payment, and you get to hang out with myself and the wondermous WebDiva (and maybe even that elusive cartoonist type)! Shoot me an email if you're interested. Also, check out our Volunteer Guidelines before you email me. We're again planning a UFie meet during the show. We're looking at holding it the second day of the Expo, on Feb. 1. Just as before, we'll meet at the UF booth 15 minutes before the close of the show and then troop out together. I'm also looking for a keen NYC native to help me plan things out so again, email me if you can give me a hand. WebDiva and myself will be posting more info as it gets closer, so keep your eyes here on the Static for more news!

| [Kickstart] FROM THE STATISTICS AND LOGS DEPT. | Date:Wed Jan 10 11:42:43 2001 |
| I was recently going through some statistics on UFs Static Cling newsletter and noticed something important...while a goodly number of UFies have said, "Yes! Please send me the Static Cling!", about 1000 of those haven't filled out their correct email address (or in some cases, any email address at all), thereby preventing us from sending you cool information about Userfriendly.org and articles by UF staff. If you might be one of those 1000 people, or signing up for the Static Cling sounds like a good idea to you, please head over to your account administration page and make sure the "Valid Email" section is actually a valid email. Please note that the "Valid Email" is never posted on the site, "Visible Email" is for that. Thanks! Kickstart
