 That's right, this Friday, Saturday and Sunday I'll be attending the Fine, Fun and Family-oriented Duckon 12 in Chicago! I was puffed up with pride last year to be invited as the Mad Scientist Guest of Honor; this year I've been invited back as a "special guest" -- likely a nom de plume for Guests who belong on the short bus. It's all good!
This year I'm in three events, Cartooning with Illiad, Gaming for Profits, and Duckon Illuminati. In the last event I'll be playing Illuminati (and crushing all y'all! HA!) and contributing a New and Special card to the deck: the Duckon card, custom made just for the con. The Duckon card is first prize for the event, and I'm providing a second copy to be sold at Duckon's much-good-Karma-inducing Art Auction.
Don't forget that Duckon is an event that raises money for a children's literacy fund! Also, there just may be a UFie meet in Chicago if we get enough interest. Come on out! If you missed it last year, read my review of Duckon 11. See you there!
