There was one house on my route to & from school where the guy had a work shop.
At first I couldn't figure out what he was building inside it so one day I got up the courage to ask.
It turns out he built "extra large model aircraft" for special effects.
At the time I asked he was busy building a B-52 in exquisite detail.
And everything he built had to be remote control so it could be flown for the cameras.
I was pretty much a regular visitor to his garage if the door was open, just to watch him work.
Those things were big, beautiful, & so damned realistic that I was certain I'd see little tiny green plastic Army men crawling all over them in prep for take off.
