Poll of the Moment: dream jobs... by ShadowSystems2016-12-15 06:56:19
Free-range engineer / armchair superhero crossover by user 2016-12-15 09:33:11
Nobody tells me what to do, I fix the problems I like fixing.

I wouldn't be payed for it, I would be super-duper-duper rich (Hey, while I'm dreaming, why not) so I can pay for all the tools, materials, and knowledge I need, also to hire others if needed, working in a team with a few selected friends, and money is never an issue.

I'd spend all time a day has on it, minus "eating, errands, toilet trips or sleep".

I'd build home automation for the disabled, custom made to fit their individual needs. I'd build the largest zero-carbon-footprint powerplant on the planet. I'd find a way to keep the electric grid stable even when all power generated is solar, wind, hydro and other renewable (Huge storage facilities + tying all the worlds powergrids together). And I'd have my own satellite just for the fun of it (scientific/communication, no orbital crowbar launcher).

So far, I'm closer to being a broke stand-up comedian... A mediocre one. Except I don't do stand-up comedy.
