Yo. I'm originally from the DC area (more specifically, the Chesapeake (Maryland) Bay Area), and now live in San Diego. My hobbies are geeking about, videogaming, watching and playing sports, hoping the Raiders don't make it to the Super Bowl here, and depriving Starbucks of as much rape and pillage opportunity business as I can by monetarily supporting only local coffee shops.

For those who live in or are visiting San Diego, there's an awesome coffee shop in La Jolla (La Jolla being the location of UCSD) called the Pannikin (take the 52 West until it ends and becomes Ardath Rd; Ardath becomes Torrey Pines Rd (not to be confused with North Torrey Pines Rd); turn left on Girard Ave; the shop will be on your left. To get back home, turn right onto Torrey Pines Rd, which turns into Ardath Rd, which goes to the 52 East and the 5 South).

Pet peeves and personal hatreds include:
  • Misuse of "its", "it's", "there", "they're", "there", etc.
  • Emacs
  • Most non-vi-based editors, and, come to think of it, most vi-based editors except vi and vim
  • The Raiders, the Cowboys, the Mighty Ducks, the Lakers, the Dodgers and the Yankees
  • Anybody who hears me talking about the Kings and think I would ever be talking about the Sacramento Kings (as opposed to the LA Kings)
  • Everything about LA except the Kings and UCLA
  • The South (with the exception of Tennessee)
  • People who live in Tennessee and don't take advantage of state laws that permit them to put a false and hopefully funny license plate on their front bumper
  • Ford
  • Volkswagen and everything it stands for (yes, especially that; that's why I hate VW); Volkswagen keys are spared my hatred because they are extremely fun to play with
  • Racists and racism
  • The Microsoft Natural keyboard I am forced to use
