My nickname came from a botched reservation. I was going on an earthquake aftershock study. The reservations were for the Department of Geophysical Sciences. The motel had Department of Geopsychic Sciences.

I thought it was the best typo I had seen, or someone knew more about how the department worked than we wanted generally known.
