Ace pushes open the door with his left hand, following with the muzzle of his gun in the right.
If something is gonna try to bite off that hand then it's gonna get a muzzle full of muzzle spitting hot lead for its troubles.
At X's message over the group link, Ace replies over the same channel "If we didn't want to get involved then why did we come here in the first place?"
Ace gives an initial quick peek in through the open door, scanning the interior with all his senses & sensors, then pulling the head back to avoid any sudden traps that might spring at such an opportunity.

He'll send the audio & video clip to the group over the secured link, then follow it up with a brief "Head's up. Keep wary."
With that Ace takes a deep breath, squares his shoulders like a football linebacker about to charge, & goes in through the door like a bull entering a China shop with destruction on it's mind.
Ducking, dodging, diving behind the nearest cover he spotted in his initial scan, Ace is either the epitome of the calm, cool, street fighter that can handle anything, or the spitting image of Leroy Jenkins.

As soon as he's "safely" ensconced himself behind something that might block a stray bullet or two, he starts a more thorough scan of the room & the ether within.
Can he sense any jamming, specific traffic that might deserve more attention, spot something that needs to be shot at, or hear anything that might make him soak his socks?
Like a schizophrenic PrarieDog repeatedly poking it's head up then dropping back down, Ace engages in the world's most idiot looking game of Whack A Mole as the most paranoid mole.

If he detects anything that needs shooting he'll pick a random spot among the cover to pop up, return fire, then duck back down again.
Better to be random & limit the enemy's ability to target you, than to be predictable & earn a bullet in the brain for your patterns.
If push comes to shove, like the place catches fire or Godzilla comes out of the floor, he will "wisely" run away screaming like a petrified kid encountering a slug for the first time... in their food.
