Serious though:
Check in advance if the SPI objects run in a seperate core. If so, you might have a challenge to run two SPI monitoring instances in 1 core.... Maybe a load balancing mechanism. Realistic enough, considering the SPI interface of the Maxim is read-only... Especially with a monitoring cycle of 1 second. :)
