<<* Time dilation is still in effect *>>
Nobody on the team appears to have been phased by the stun ball, the back-blast blowing past everybody into the hallway, carrying a little dust, smoke and debris with it.
Ace shakes off the blast of nearly solid wind to the chest, wonders just WTF happened, and trains his weapon back onto his target.
"You bloody wanker!" Lady S growls as she trains her right weapon point-blank on the fallen wolf spider the stunball hit, while keeping the left trained at the shaadowy thing gurlging in the back. "There may be more of them hidden in the shadows," she shouts, "Watch your backs."
X's voice, seeming distant or perhaps distracted, murmurs, "Remember how I said to watch your shots? Careful with the heavy ordnance. Someone could get hurt." His rifle's weight is taken up by the ready sling with a faint metallic click.
Block, that interminable force of nature, continues spell-slinging in earnest, zapping his newfound target, the clumsily stumble-footed wolf spider, now lying on its side (where it had fallen) well within arm's reach of him.
And the gallery could not be more full of noise. Ever. |
