He made "Drug Pushing Robots for the Military", so coupled with your Power Plants & Robotic, the two of you can *easily* design an Insulin Dosing, BSL Reading, FemBot/PersiCom!
*Cough*
=-)p
It's not so much the implant that makes my skin crawl, it's the *repeated* surgeries for *repeated* implants that do it.
A one time implant, "set & forget" kind of thing wouldn't be so bad, but even a once every six months kind of thing would make me scream & start stabbing at people with licorice...
*Nervous Giggle*
But if it were something that was Passive, Subcutaneous, and didn't pose a threat for things like infection vectors (e.g.: poking through the skin, so exterior infections could become *interior* ones), then I could handle that.
Something about the size/weight of a deck of playing cards or an old style Sony Walkman, attached to a velcro-strapped neoprene cuff, or a cloth wrap, like a Blood Pressure Cuff, that could be strapped to an arm, leg, or where-ever, firmly held against the body so it couldn't easily be ripped loose, would be great.
Give it a metric F4 Ton of internal memory storage for BSL data, plus it could double as an MP3 player, and you'd have Diabetics flinging money at you for a unit of their own.
