That is, I'm on duty the first weekend in August. I'm off on Friday, but will have to see appointments 8-12 on Saturday, then come back in around 5 or 6pm to treat any hospitalized patients, and at the least stop in twice on Sunday. So, it's not that I wouldn't be able to participate, but I might need to join something in-progress or leave something early.
The last weekend in July I have a three-day weekend off, although since my previous weekend off is reserved for reading Deathly Hallows, my parents will probably be hoping for a visit then. I guess the upshot of that is that my full weekend off is probably a *worse* choice than my weekend on duty.
Hmm....I think I just talked myself into voting for first weekend in August. That, or the second weekend in August, which is also a three-day weekend off. But maybe I'm opening a can of worms we're better off without, there. ;p |
