I'm young, single, female, and living in the Greater Chicagoland area. Why am I spending so much time at home with my pets on my computer?

Well, there's CSI, Criminal Minds, facebook games, UF, TV Tropes, Wikipedia, the I-maniacs, Mythbusters, Forever Knight, Dexter, not to mention eight pounds of papillon and at least thirty pounds of cats wanting to be snuggled, fed, and played with.

But I do my share of getting out, including long walks with said papillon, Toastmasters, Mensa events and meetings, veterinary conferences, a Hostelling International membership, and visits to S&M clubs. Well, okay, I threw in one of those just to see if you're paying attention. ;p >:-)

I am also a proud member of The Average Middle-Aged Ones, even though I don't think I'm actually middle-aged yet.
