Genetic counsel(l)ing? See here for a pretty good explanation. I completed a Graduate Diploma in Genetic Counselling (it's like a step between a Bachelor and a Masters; I didn't write a thesis and it was only 1 year) in 2007. Now I'm working as a Cancer Genetic Counsellor at a public hospital in Sydney, AU. Feel free to ask me about anything to do with genetic disorders, but remember: it is always best to see your own doctor, or find your own local genetics service if you are concerned about something in yourself or your family! I have learned a fair bit about many medical conditions and their treatments, but I am not an expert!
