Welcome UFies and visitors!

This... is supposed to be a diary. In contrast to times not long ago, when 'diaries' used to be personal, this public one here will neither offer intimate personal details nor experience update frenzies. Look at it as a simple personal contact hub with occasional comments and notes. Ever since the UFieverse made me feel at home, I consider UF my web homestead - thanks to everyone involved! I may not always be at home, but also I wouldn't throw away the key, as long as the owner lets me have it and I get along with the fellow lodgers (and vice versa ;)

Current RL location: This continuum -> this universe -> Milky Way galaxy -> Solar system -> Earth -> Europe -> Germany -> greater Berlin region, sometimes travelling abroad.

Favourite pastime? Too many. Or rather too little time for a perfectly reasonable amount of amusements... I'm fond of almost all aspects of life (well, who isn't?) like meeting new people and the ones I know, the marvels of mind like thoughts, ideas, emotions and imaginations - in everyone and in everday's life, in this world or in fantasy. Fine & applied arts (think of music, a children's sandcastle, conceptual stuff, written & spoken art, still and moving pictures, design, crafts, constructions...) rarely fail to spark my interest, as do all kinds of sports, (information) technologies & its interrelations with culture and society, innovations and gadgets, delicious food & liquids, games, quiet places and buzzing spaces, humour, dreaming how the world could/should be, finding/supporting smart ways to realize those dreams and many more things probably revealed in posts.

I like to start the day, or the night (What is this klock thing you speak of?), with a good glas of GAP ("green as poison", the tea counterpart of BAS, easily surpassing it in terms of caffeine ;). If at all, I'm probably the C in "Centrist" (+100 geekpoints for finding the site this picture originates from). Since I'm available for (bidirectional) English/German (also Berlin tongue) translations, these are preferred for contact. But whatever language you choose, no worries, we'll find a way to communicate.
