Here we go again.

Old, grey, balding, bearded, running to fat. Generally grumpy on days ending in "y". A little brutal perhaps, but *technically* all true! LOL

Currently the Infrastructure Manager for a very dispersed organisation: wan, lan, server, desktop, telephony are all mine...

Lots of history including Development Team Lead (Oracle ApEx/JDev team) and Project Manager for hardware, software and services contracts

After much soul searching, now found potential new residence for my corporal body. You can take me out of Scotland, but dammit... Ah well, Nova Scotia here we come!


So, any Atlantic Canadian UFies want to give me pointers? Things I want and need to know:
- DSL options (really want low latency and high throughput (gamers in house!)
- ISP's, good, not so hot, bargepole options (NS only)
- .ca computer parts supply firms!
- Tech job opportunities in/around Halifax/Atlantic
- Things Canadians just *know* that catch out newcomers
- Fishing and Hunting!
- NS / NB / PEI UFies!
