At Leeson's ComCheck Ace smiles, nods, & replies back over the same channel: "Ace here. You're Five-By-Five. Out."
At Tiny's broadcast & then X's reiteration of it, Ace nods soberly & looks to X as if waiting instructions.
Silently over his internal ComLink's encrypted to all: "Primary. Three. On it. Out."
So when X starts to reach for a grappel gun to head out, Ace gets up off his butt, dusts himself off, & takes a look around himself to make sure he hasn't dropped anything.
At Block's inquiry if Ace is ready to impersonate a surveilence drone, Ace's face splits into a wiiiiide grin.
"Dude, as long as it doesn't involve getting shot down in a blazing fireball, I'm all for it!"
Ace makes a Super Hero "launching into the sky" pose & says like a twit: "WHOOOSH!"
As Block takes them to the sky & Ace's POV changes, Ace gets serious on the task of keeping his eyes & ears open for anything & everything.
Scanning the ground for Reggie, Miss Garcia, Gangers, Ghouls, Limos, or any indication of stuff that might jeopardize the group's ability to toss a monkey wrench into the Hunt.
Scanning the windows of buildings as they fly by, searching for eyes or muzzles following them, any electronics obviously following their progress (security cameras moving with them, drones focusing on them, lasers stabbing out for them,
missile lock, etc), and anything that may prove an immediate peril from collision.
Craning the neck to check the skies around them & the rooftops as they pass, looking for snipers, drones, or anyone doing their own impersonation of a nosey gargoyle.
All this while letting his internal ComLink scan the airwaves for any SigInt that might prove interesting: is that overpowering van of idiots still broadcasting like an unshielded pirate radio? Are there any other com chatter that might
twig his attention? Any drones suddenly locking on him or the group? Any friendlies in the area whom have noticed us but are running interference for us? Any foes trying to ambush us unawares?
It's a good thing Block is doing the flying on this ride else Ace would probably have a brain melt from trying to juggle so many balls at once.
