Let's call this the "Diabetic Device" for ease of refference.
Where do we currently stand on this project?
We need a source of income, either a Venture Capitalist, a KickStart Project, or other form of keeping it funded.
We need people to contact the various Blood Sugar Meter manufacturerers and ask about what procedures they use, the laws surrounding such devices, and "any advice you can give to a Pharmaceutical Engineer with an idea for a device".
Not as competition to their own, but as an augmentation of theirs; we don't want them to kill us before we get started.
We need to contact the various Test Strip makers & ask how they do it.
Advice on design, manufacture, etc, OR the procedures we'd need to make a Testing Device that used their Test Strips.
"We'd like to make a device that uses your strips. What technical data do we need to make this happen?"
That'll get their greed up & may convince them to help instead of stomp.
What are the laws around creating such a device?
What are the FDA requirements on testing, design, manufacturer, etc?
What would Reti need in way of Research & Design facilities, tools, components, etc?
Is it already in his garage, located conveniently near by, or could it be rented cheaply?
These are just some of the thoughts in my head.
