Getting too fancy: these are High Schoolers that are having difficulty understanding the MOSFETs and their interaction with the Arduino.

Of course, right now I'm trying to find a Buck step-down DC Regulator that will withstand up to 50V input and will still put out 36V ad 22.2A: apparently I'm going to have to build something like this from scratch.  Simple, baby steps.  I've got to provide overvoltage protection for both sides of this equation: 9V for the Arduino (the controller stage) and 36V for the motor (the driver stage).  Apparently I've got to do some real digging, here.  But that's the fun of a project like this - I get to learn more as I do the digging.

New wrinkle: Test Day for this car is January 23rd at the track.  I don't have a lot of time to make this work - so no frills this time.  Just got to make it work...
