Enlisted rather than go to Canada and lose my family, did 8-1/2 years USMC (Jan'64-Aug'72) 6236/8981 MOS (Fire Control Radar in F4B-Phantom/MARS Radio Opr.)
MARS=Best racket in the MIL; talking to each other rather than shooting. RVN twice, DaNang and Chu Lai. Shot at, feel fortunate now, I _never_ got to shoot back. Aerospace (Aeronutronics, HughesAC), digital-telephony (AJ, Ericsson), JPL 19-years to last layoff.
