First, my Doc is out on vacation until the 15th.
Anything she would have been able to do has to either wait until she returns, or gets handled by her underlings who have NO authority to write a report on my health.
Next, Kaiser has NO record of ever having received the DMV paperwork.
There are two "Administration" offices in the building, & only ONE of them actually deals with Admin duties.
The upstairs one has a single, one-line record of some nurse claiming to have called me letting me know that they mailed the paperwork.
But the downstairs one has no record of the paperwork itself, so anything the upstairs office claims gets flushed.
"Without a copy of the paperwork, which would have been scanned & entered into your Medical Record upon its completion, there's nothing to verify. There isn't a copy in your MR, so as far as we're concerned, it never happened. Have a nice day!"
The DMV says that, unless I can get something from Kaiser verifying that they mailed the requested paperwork, or get them to fill out a second copy OF the paperwork, there's nothing they can nor will do about the matter.
Their records show that a request for [the paperwork] was made with a due-date, & the requested paperwork was not received by that date.
End of story, tough nuts, sucks to be you.
I've already gone to Kaiser & requested that they fill out a second set, signed the release form allowing them to do so, & requested that they expedite this.
But that's all I can do - *request*.
Kaiser is under NO obligation to rush, there's nothing I can do to FORCE them to rush, & technically, since my Doc is out until the 15th, they can claim NOTHING can be done until she returns.
Someone please just put a bullet through my temple.
I hate this ride & I want off.
