      Ace's actions... by ShadowSystems 2015-11-22 13:59:13
At Leeson's words about getting paid, Ace nods & replies "You also have to live to spend it, something I whole heartedly intend to do."

Ace gives a raised eyebrows, impressed expression to the Dwarf at the information that the wraith-like things were just a distraction.
An amused shake of the head, a gentle mirthful snort, & Ace makes a two fingered "tip of the hat" salute in acknowledgement.
"Nicely done. Simple, effective, and well played..." *Grins* "...You b7."

Ace laughs quietly for a few breaths then shuts up with a sigh.
Another quick peek over the parapet to see if there's anything to be sensed that needs a greater amount of attention.
Once again he pipes the feed from the trideo into a file for later examination or retrieval, as well as uploading to the others.
((Perception: 4, 5, 2, 3, 1, 6, 5, 4, 1.))

When Leeson offers up the money in exchange for finding out about the girl, Ace casts a quick sidelong glance at Block.
Turning his eyes back to the Shaman Ace extends a hand to shake & says aloud:
"I'm game for it. The more data you can give us to try & find her with, the better our chances of doing it.
What she looks like, what she sounds like, smells like, how she walks, her favorite foods, favorite music, favorite haunts, that sort of thing.
The better the scent you give the hound, the better the chance it can follow the trail to it's source."
After a moment's consideration he tilts his head & asks: "What kind of strange stuff?"
Ace seripticiously switches on the audio recording function of the decoy beneath his palm, hoping to keep an accurate record of anything Leeson might care to share.

When Tiny speaks over the ComLink, Ace looks to his decoy as if reading the screen for an inbound text.
A mutter as if grumbling about something stupid, he pokes & prods the screen as if composing his reply.
Mentally he sends back over the same encrypted "Group to All" link: "Primary. Three. Check. Out."
Along with the text he uploads the bit of trideo for the rest to examine as they can, want, or need, hoping more eyes on the task will resort in more details being gleaned.

At X's message about the coordinates, heading, & ETA of the inbound limo, Ace perks up like a Terrier catching a scent.
Sending back over the same encrypted "Group to All" channel he replies: "Primary. Three. Will advise if spotted. Out."

With that he makes another look over the edge of the wall at his back, hoping to catch sight of anything & everything that needs tracking.
Again he records the feed to a file "just in case", for maybe he can spot something he missed the first time by reexamining the footage afterwards.
Down the street away from the Park, along the street at the base of the building, up the street towards the Park, then up to scan the windows, rooftops, & sky.
((Perception: 4, 2, 5, 1, 2, 4, 1, 1, 6.))

As he ducks back down again into the cover of the wall, Ace exhales as if to say "Phew! Nobody shot at me!"
He looks over to Block & stage whispers in a comically attrocious French accent: "You rrready un catapult, I'll rrready un cow."
He cups a palm, holds his arm out perpendicular to the wall at his back, then !SNAPS! it up at the elbow as if launching something.
He chortles "Fetch-she la-vosh!" and then makes a doppler shifting surprised cow's moo.
"Then we can-a taunt them a sek-und time-ah!"

*Cough*
