I finish my business with Block. The bartender asks "What's your poison? The little guy you just talked to wanted to get you a drink."
I pause speculatively for a moment. "I'd like a Billy Goats Gruff Under the Bridge. Bring it over to the table, I'd like to see their reaction. I'm in for the ghoul hunting. I believe I'll be bringing a few running mates, but let me discuss with everyone before I give you a positive answer."
I stroll back over to the table, and resume my seat. "Sorry for the interruption. The Bartender had an opportunity. Would you two be up for some ghoul hunting? In a few weeks most likely. Betting odds have to be set up, and what not. I've heard it pays well, but we'll discuss more of the specifics, once I have more specifics."
The server comes by and places 3 cups, each one larger than the last, on the table. "Here's your drink sir. A Billy Goats Gruff Under the Bridge."
"Billy Goats Gruff. Excellent drink. It's what 'Trolls' like." I grin at Block. "Thank you for the drink." I then proceed to down my drink, starting from the smallest cup. |
