| I'd suggest to get an mRNA vaccine, but any is better than none. AstraZeneca (or renamed) bears a (small) risc of blood clots in brain vessels, damaging or lethal. Inform and decide for yourself. Johnson & Johnson works poorly against the RZA variant, and can cause blot clots, too, as we know now. All this is subject to change as developments of vaccines and mutation of viruses progress. China's Sinopharm? vax is said to be less effective against Omicron. Haven't followed the Russian Sputnik vax, could be OK, but they didn't provide solid info. Currently, Moderna's Spikevax seems best (long-term), combine it with BioNTech/Pfizer's Comirnaty (just as good, decreasing a bit faster, tolerability seems better) at next booster, or vice versa - mixed protects better, as each addresses a partly similar, but not congruent set of vectors. Availability may be restricted, though, depending how your authorities manage it. |
