At Tiny's instructions about taking the high road, Ace sends back simply "Check" along the same encrypted "Group To All" ComLink.
When X sends his message along, Ace replies down the same link with a chuckle & "You just want to pee off the roof on people!"
To Block's request for a dark corner from which to begin some N'er Do Welling, Ace sends back a quick "One Sec..."
A slow spin in place as if trying to see if there might not be a strip club, dance club, or SOME form of entertainment on this boring avenue, Ace tries to find a good spot they can dive into at the indicated building that Tiny told them
to climb.
Eyes scanning for the dark parts, ears for the quiet parts, hoping to find a place where the two are one & the same.

He thinks he finds the perfect place - a dark service alcove on the side of the building that doesn't appear nor sound as if anyone is already occupying it - and Ace turns to his friend.
Over the encrypted ComLink direct to Grunyon: "Over there" and sends across the visual from the decoy ComLink in his hand to show the hidey hole he's just spotted so his friend can go there.
Aloud he starts to ask Grunyon some inane question about if there might be, but cuts off in mid word to pretend to react in surprise to the Dwarf's ruse of running to vomit:
"Oh damn, not again Chummer! Can't you hold your booze anymore Old Man?"
:and runs after his friend as if to give aid.
Once in the alcove & pressed firmly into the shadows, Ace burries his face into the crook of his elbow to stifle the laughs, takes a few deep breaths to calm down, & lets out a long slow huff through his nose.
Quietly he bops his friend on the arm & snickers "Sorry about that, but I had to follow your lead on the barfing bit."
At Block's question Ace raises an eyebrow & retorts "I've been in airplanes before. Why?" but then notices where Grunyon is looking & follows his gaze to the fire escape landing.
Ace makes a low "Ung?" gurgle in confusion, but then his friend explains with the bit about the spell.
Ace's eyes go wide in excitement & his voice strains to be quiet as it bubbles over with enthusiasm.
In a low hiss as he tries to get it all out in one long exclamation, he verbally ejaculates:
"You mean flying like a bird! Dude, that sounds freakin' awesome! How does it work? Do I need to do anything? Will it hurt? Should I have worn underwear? Will it be worth having given myself a Brazillian for? Oh man I can't wait!
LetsGoLetsGoLetsGO!"
With that Ace strikes a Super Hero pose like SuperMan about to leap over a tall building in a single bound, wishing like crazy he had a cool cape & irridescent SpeedO thong to complete the visual.
If the spell does NOT work as planned, then I'll have to do something appropriate depending on the CSP at the time.
If the spell works & Ace ends up on the fire escape landing as planned, then do the following:
Ace barely resists the urge to hoot "Up! Up! And AWAAAAY!" as the spell lifts him into the air, but can't quite keep the s4 eating grin off his face.
Taking the landing as if stepping from an escalator to a sidewalk, Ace moves to the stairs to make room for his friend to come in behind him...
Up & up & up the zigzag of stairs as far as they'll take him, Ace waits at the top for his friend.
Once on the roof & admiring the view, Ace answers his friend's message with one of his own: "Ok, lemme look..."
A slow circuit of the roof, staying low so he doesn't backlight himself & stand out like a neon sign, he duck walks along the perimeter.
Looking up to see if there are even better vantage points that might have others scoping them out, looking out to see if the nearby buildings at the same level have any windows facing that might have a sniper rifle poking from one, then
down to scan the street for the best field of view to keep the best overwatch on the pedestrians.
Eyes open & scanning, ears at max sensativity, all the better to perceive the crap before it hits the fan.

Having found the spot he thinks will do the most good, Ace hunkers down below the parapet to kneel with his eyes just above the wall.
Via direct to Grunyon he sends his current location in relation, plus a copy of the visual from his decoy ComLink, to let his friend know where to find him.
Over the "Group To All" channel he sends: "Three in position. Beginning Scans. Out." and clicks off.
Now he switches to a cycle of looking up to scan the roof tops for other watchers, then the windows for any observers, and then down to the street below to see if he can spot Reggie, the clone, the Lady, or any dangers that need bringing
to the attention of the others.
