Golf, LOL... such sports: by roger G. rapid 2004-08-27 08:08:23
You hit the mark (BTW, what about archery? ;o) I go swimming now and then, do some running (long distance in spare time, and short distance sprints after w*** to catch the train home) and biking. Have intentions to start some martial arts, KF preferably, but time is always short 'cause the travel distances consume it. As there is little opportunity for activities like mountain climbing in my area, I sometimes get a crazy kick out of taking the stairs to our flat in the 19th floor instead of the elevator. On rare occasions (e.g. when both elevators are broken) I have no choice, admittedly...

Talking about long term affects of sports - I was in a swimming team when I was young (preteen) and still have difficulties with my eyes and skin due to chlorine exposure in the swimming hall water. But that's another story. Golf would be nice, I guess, but it takes time again (and calmness?) that I don't have at the moment - okay, I have it but spend it on other occupations.
