Like watching other people play sports in general, I've never really understood the appeal.
We could do something geeky, like carpooling to the RenFaire, or going to a roller skating rink or laser tag game. Actually, if we're looking for something evening-only, I got a flyer in the mail at work offering a 50% discount for "medical personnel" and guests, so if I make a reservation, it's 50% off for me and three guests, then 20% off for another six people. (Unless someone else has a job that could be construed as "medical" and can get another four people in at 50%....)
Not a major request, just an idea to throw out there among the rest. I went playing laser tag for a friend's birthday earlier this year, and it was fun! Kid stuff or really cheesy stuff in general is fun to do with other grown-ups. And then there's the cliche of karaoke or bowling.... >:-) |
