Just seems like an appropriate time.
My impression, it being a "time war," and "all of space and time burning," was that the war spread across time the same way it spread across space, and when the Time Lords and daleks were wiped out, their *entire* existence was wiped out, with only stray memories of them remaining. That would mean Susan (and possibly Romana) were wiped out even though they weren't directly involved.
I'm no longer certain whether their entire existence is supposed to be wiped out, except for rare exceptional circumstances, or whether they were all just killed. All the more reason for me to go re-watch the rest of the series, I guess! |
