| I'm just about to hit the sack for a few hours of sleep and then off to the airport. | *Sigh*, finally a chance to crawl out from behind my monitor and interact with the other humans! A whole bunch of us from the UF office (no names to protect the possible slackers) will be attending the very first "GeekRave" this coming July 7th. The venue is Mavericks at the Plaza of Nations, near BC Place, Vancouver, BC. Tickets ($10, including a beverage) are available from tix@geekrave.org or at the door. The first 200 tickets sold include a burger too, for those with flesh eating tendencies. Check out the web site GeekRave.org or write to info@geekrave.org for more information. This place is going to be packed with geek and geekettes alike and I have been assured that the techno will be of the highest quality. Not to mention that there will be "skill testing questions" and a whack load of incredible prizes from such sponsors as: User Friendly, InfoWave, IdeaPark, Yorkton Securities, Infopreneur, MyBC, and Playdium. Finally, I have been informed that the first two tables of UFies to make it to the GeekRave will be graced with a free pitcher per table. How's that for preferential treatment? Don't forget to mention that you're a UFie at the door, and remember to seek out those of us with UF staff shirts (I'll be on the dance floor).

 Illiad will be the keynote speaker at lunch for the LinuxMall.com Summit on June 26 during PC Expo in New York at Javits Center. There will also be a book signing with Illiad on June 27th at the LinuxMall.com booth, #1240.

| Mucho Thanks to the Netcenter people for linking to Peer 2 Peer on their What's New section. My entire office is really wondering now that I have spent the afternoon wandering about gigglin and uttering "this is sooo cool, this is incredible", followed in short course by the ever eloquent: "whoa". What a week it has been for Peer 2 Peer, we hit the 2000 mark in terms of people who have used the service (actually we blew 2000 outta da watta), Arcterex and I received news that yet another happy couple is getting married on account of meeting on our service, and then Netcenter cited us as cool! I kiss you Netcenter, I kiss you :)

I am reporting live from web diva's office from UF. This is the greatest office ever. Right now there is a fight going on between two office members. My bro' Matt is beside me. They are fighting with Star Wars Light sabres. Kris is watching intently. Another Star Wars fight is going on. This time, it is my two classmates, Kris and Luanne. Jay is filming everything, in case the judge needs evidence for the stabbing of Kris Biggs. Oh my, Pam And his girlfriend are having a Star Wars fight. I thought they liked each other.
