[Asfrith] Diary of asfrith Updated/Posted: 2009-12-02 01:14:15
Asfrith is the name of a young Norwegian human of the male persuation. He likes to play computer games, he plays musical instruments (such as the euphonium) with great interest, he is a DM for a D&D session where he lives, he has a loving fiancee who he loves to caress, and he wishes that these things are all he ever needs to do.

From time to time Asfrith dreams of becoming a full-time writer, but every time a small voice in his head says that he'd probably end up making silly rip-offs, so he never writes anything.

Asfrith is of course not really called Asfrith. His real name is Øyvind. He lives in a small town (app. 40.000 inh.) called Bodø, rather far north in Norway. He tries to be a student, but often feels that he failes quite dramatically. Of course looking at how the other students fail in the excact same ways helps.



UPDATE:

I have moved away from the small town and now live in the Norwegian capital, Oslo. I married my fiancee som years back, but are divorced now because she wasn't quite as loving as I thought at the time. I still play musical instruments, but now mailny the trombone. I still play D&D, but am too much of a cheapskate to play the new, fancy 4th ed. since 3.5 still works. I'm no longer a student, having completed my education some years ago. I now work as a teacher in a secondary school outside Oslo.

In fact, the only things up there that are still correct are my name and the fact that I don't write down the stories I have in my head.

NEW UPDATE:
Interestingly enough, everything that is in the previous update is still correct. Not enough interesting things happen in my life. Meh.
