[inittab] Diary of inittab Updated/Posted: 2008-10-28 21:06:50

Who is this guy:

Joseph Steinhauser
a.k.a "JETS" - since 1974
a.k.a "Gandalf" - since 1984

Diary Sections:     [keepers]     [reading]     [responses]     [tech]

Current Residence: Atlanta, GA
Origins: I grew up on a farm in Northwest Missouri (USA) near the town of Stanberry.
Past Work/Residence: Kansas City, Austin, Dallas, Richmond VA, Birmingham AL, Omaha NE

I work as a computer programmer most of the time - on unix systems, and Oracle databases.

    Some of those HOBBY things

  • Dancing (several styles: Contra, Waltz, Swing, 2-Step, Rock, Latin -ask)

  • Reading (sci-fi, computers, historic, humor)

  • Traveling (driving for weeks/months at a time - state to state),

  • Singing (also several styles: groups, single, classical, church, barbershop, karaoke)

  • Bikes (pedal or motor)

  • Inventing (all sorts of ideas)

If you want to talk: I'm 6464 in the phone book     (you can find me)
or try cell=194790D86(hex) hm=F1032A30(hex)
If you want to write: Jets42{at}Gee+Mail{com}

_______

job search, bubbles , munchies, sleep, to do, old code SQL Univ. $home, boxes, crunch, birthday
vi, landlords, unix prose, FYOS,move files to new drives, TRS-80, UPS, Boredom,
murmers, chain, Hotel California, Alabama, Ufie meet & New Orleans etc.

Notable comments from other people: warning, oldie, unix tricks, O/S silliness, geek-Beatles, Monkeys

Peronality, an even split between ENTP ¤¤¤¤¤¤ and INTP ¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤ ... pretty accurate.

If you read Geek-Codes, then I would be described as: GCS/AT/IT/O h?*-
US*HAUL(+++) P+(++)>++++ L++@(+)>++++ w V+@++ E--@-(---)>++ W(++) N+
!tv b+(++) DI++ e(++)>+++ a y++>+++ d?(+++)>! PS?(+) PE(++)

On the other hand, if you prefer Omni Codes instead, then I look (sort of) like:
sxy cm173 sp=.+ Ag1964.Dec.18 anE.de Lo33,47,54N-84,24,15W.Atl.GA Zos&D rlC Crc&L&E&?
HbDance&Drive&Song&Tech MvD&W&M Kd! PeC&H MBENTP.I=E UF* IN2 Ad?&O&S&O
PrC&pl&sh&SQL&Multi(7)                                 using ver:0.1.4 encoder
