I live in Minnesota in the US and am a board-certified, card carrying Geek. I do linux, macos, and windows, but not vista, as it is an abomination unto mankind.

I also have written Java, C++ and HTML, in the past, and can generally parse stuff I see in front of me. Caffeine is my drug of choice.

Box specs:

  • Custom Built Box o' Doom (aka "Durandal")
  • 2.2 GHz AMD Athlon
  • 2x 80.00 GB HDDs
  • 1 GB RAM
  • 19" Monitor
  • nVidia GeForce 7600__ (I forget the letters and am not at home to look 'em up at the moment)
  • 56x CD-ROM drive (disconnected for power consumption reasons)
  • 52/32/52x CD-ROM burner (disconnected for power consumption reasons)
  • DVD burner
  • Windows XP Pro
